In our mission as advocates for equity to the African American, and other underserved communities; we are committed to expand our efforts for unity and open ended inclusion of all persons of good will that care willing to partner with us.

Purpose

STATEWIDE CONVENTION

The Black American Political Association of California (BAPAC) invites you to this year’s 41st Annual Statewide Roaring into the 2020 “Championing the Black Agenda” Convention from October 11th – 12th, 2019 at the University Square Hotel in Fresno, California. The Fresno Chapter will host this year’s event.

The impending 2020 election cycle, provides Californians and the rest of the country an opportunity to voice their opinions about the future of our nation. The agenda will reflect the necessity and importance of what is to come.  The convention format and conversation will focus on addressing the following topics intended to change outcomes for every community in California.  Topics include but are not limited to:

 Community Organizing

Economic Development

 Reducing Homelessness

Reconnected with African American “Generationals”

Education

Affordable Healthcare and Wellness outcomes

Home Ownership

Advancing social justice initiatives and improving police and community relations in our city and throughout the State of California.

About BAPAC. The Black American Political Association of California mission is to educate, engage and empower California communities of color in an effort to restore and promote social and economic equity. Started in1978 by Dr. Percy Pinkney and various key leaders, BAPAC has since grown. Note: Although political is in our name we are not a political organization. We do not endorse political candidates, nor do we contribute money to candidates or PACs. We are a bipartisan, 501c3 organization.
